Getting Started

Download & Installation

1. Download the Cart app from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
2. Open the app and tap "Sign In"
3. Enter your phone number to receive a verification code
4. Enter the 6-digit code sent via SMS
5. Complete your profile with your name and email

First Time Setup

Once logged in, you'll have access to all app features including tee time booking, simulator reservations, food ordering, and GPS-enabled course navigation.

📍 GPS Course Navigation

• Bluetooth Cart Connection: Connect to your golf cart for real-time position tracking on the course
• Distance Measurements: View distances to the pin, hazards, and other course features
• Interactive Maps: Toggle between satellite and standard map views
• Hole Information: Access detailed layouts including fairways, greens, bunkers, and water hazards

⛳ Tee Time Booking

• Browse available tee times up to 14 days in advance
• View member and guest pricing
• Add optional products like cart rental and range balls
• Add guests to your booking
• Cancel bookings up to 2 hours before your tee time
• View all your upcoming and past bookings

🎯 Simulator Reservations

• Book simulator time by the hour
• View your monthly simulator usage and block allocation
• Members with unlimited access can book without using blocks
• Cancel bookings with automatic refund (subject to cancellation policy)

🍔 Food & Beverage Ordering

• Browse the full menu with descriptions and photos
• Add items to your cart and customize quantities
• Add special instructions for each item
• Choose pickup or delivery to your cart on the course
• Add a tip and pay securely with Apple Pay or saved card
• Members with account charging can charge orders to their account

📢 Announcements

• Receive push notifications for important course updates
• View announcements about course conditions, events, and special offers
• Stay informed about weather delays and course closures

📊 Scorecard

• Keep score for up to 4 players
• Track scores hole-by-hole
• View par information for each hole

Membership Benefits

Members enjoy exclusive benefits when booking through the app:

• Discounted Rates: Member pricing on all tee times and products
• Unlimited Access: Some memberships include unlimited green fees and cart usage
• Free Delivery: Certain membership tiers include free food delivery to your cart
• Simulator Time: Monthly block allocations or unlimited simulator access
• Account Charging: Charge purchases directly to your member account

💡 Tip: When booking, the app automatically shows your member pricing and marks included items as "FREE" so you always know exactly what you're paying. 

Troubleshooting

Can't Log In

• Make sure you're entering the phone number associated with your member account
• Check that you have a cellular or WiFi connection to receive the SMS code
• Wait 60 seconds before requesting a new verification code
• Contact the pro shop if you need to update your phone number on file

GPS Not Working

• Ensure Location Services are enabled for the Cart app in your iPhone Settings
• Make sure Bluetooth is turned on to connect to your golf cart
• Try disconnecting and reconnecting to the cart's Bluetooth
• Restart the app if GPS tracking seems stuck

Payment Issues

• Verify your payment method is up to date in Settings → Account
• For Apple Pay, ensure your card is active in the Wallet app
• Check that your billing information is correct
• Try removing and re-adding your payment method

Booking Cancellation

• Tee times must be cancelled at least 2 hours in advance
• Simulator bookings have varying refund policies based on timing
• If you can't cancel through the app, call the pro shop immediately

Push Notifications Not Arriving

• Go to iPhone Settings → Notifications → Cart
• Enable "Allow Notifications"
• Select your preferred alert style (Banners, Sounds, Badges)
• Make sure "Do Not Disturb" is not enabled

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a member to use the app?

No! The app is available to both members and guests. However, members receive special pricing and benefits when booking through the app.

Can I book tee times for guests?

Yes! When booking a tee time, you can add up to 3 guests. You can enter their names and contact information, or leave them anonymous as "Guest 1, Guest 2," etc.

How does food delivery work?

Select "Delivery" when checking out, and our staff will bring your order to your cart on the course. Make sure your GPS is enabled so we can find you! 

Can I use the app during my round?

Absolutely! The GPS course navigation is designed to be used throughout your round. Use it to check distances, view hole layouts, and order food while you play.

What if I have multiple memberships or sub-members?

The app automatically recognizes your membership status and applies the appropriate benefits. If you're a sub-member, your benefits will be reflected based on your primary member's account.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes! We use Stripe, an industry-leading secure payment processor. Your card information is encrypted and never stored on our servers. We also support Apple Pay for even more secure transactions.

How do I update my profile information?

Go to Settings → Account in the app to update your name, email, phone number, and payment methods.
